I had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming homestay. The location was perfect, with stunning views of Pipiroa Bay and convenient access to a beautiful forest walk. The hosts, Paula and Gary, were warm and welcoming and provided valuable local knowledge for exploring the Bay of Islands. The breakfasts served were delicious and set me up for the day. I particularly enjoyed borrowing the canoes and exploring the serene waterways, accompanied by a flask of coffee and biscuits. The peaceful garden and bird songs created a truly tranquil atmosphere. I highly recommend this homestay for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday experience.

we had a comfortable stay in russell not far from ferry and the beach and the garden. franklin made everything for all of us. excellent and peaceful location for the town in the bay of islands.

Stunning view, enjoyed the private beach, and the hosts were friendly. They even offered a continental breakfast. Plus, free WiFi for all those important Instagram posts!
Oh, just loved sharing my living space with bunk beds and no privacy. Truly delightful.

The hosts at this homestay were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even left us some delicious homemade muffins as a treat when we arrived! The view from our unit was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the stunning harbor. We also loved the fact that there was a pathway through their beautiful garden that led directly to the beach. the location was very peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. The bunk beds were located in the living space, which meant that there was no privacy.
